OET Speaking Preparation

The speaking skills OET (Occupational English Test) comprises of two role play tasks. The test lasts approximately 20 minutes.

This one-to-one five-lesson course helps to prepare healthcare professionals for the speaking skills section of the OET.

The course includes 5 OET speaking preparation lessons and a minimum of 5 role play exercises. Each lesson includes material to help understand and master the OET criteria. During each lesson the relevant OET Assessment Criteria are reviewed in relation to the speaking skills test. This course helps healthcare professionals understand any particular strengths or weaknesses and improve accordingly.

If time permits, before the exam date, it is recommended to take the course as 5 individual lessons over a period of a few weeks. This allows time to review the lesson notes and practice the homework exercises. It is possible to book all 5 lessons as an intensive course, if preferred.

Some students request additional role play practice after absorbing the course material. There is an option to add a sixth lesson should you require further role play practice.
